Gate City Brewing Company's two-story space is anchored in the heart of Historic Roswell. At the corner of Canton and Magnolia Streets, what used to be two Roswell mechanic shops is now a 30bbl brewhouse and 3,000 sqft taproom serving up to 20 house-brewed beers on draft. Stop in each weekend for live music, taproom exclusive beers, 6-packs, community-based events and an overall good time—where the history of our growing city meets the future of craft beer culture.
OUR STORY
meet the founders
Gate City’s name derives from Atlanta, Georgia’s nickname, the “Gate City.” As early as the 1800s, Atlanta has been the center of commerce in the south. Once known as Terminus, Atlanta served as a hub for railroads heading north, to the port of Savannah, south, and ultimately west. A dream realized by co-founders Brian Borngesser and Pat Rains, Gate City Brewing is a humble (& tasty) testament to the power of independence and value of resilience.
